Hawker Hurricane Mk.I exhausts 1:48 is a resin detail accessory (not a model) of the Quickboost brand. It replaces the exhaust pipes on a Hurricane Mk.I kit.

This product is not an airplane model but a resin detail accessory in 1:48 scale from the Quickboost brand (Aires). It holds a set of finely cast exhaust pipes with open outlets that replace the parts from the kit and refine the look of the sides of the engine section. Without the base aircraft kit you cannot use it.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was a British fighter from the beginning of the Second World War with a V12 engine. The rows of exhaust pipes along the sides of the forward fuselage stand out to the eye; resin castings with hollowed-out outlets offer a more faithful shape than a solid plastic part.
Separate the parts from the casting block, clean up the mating surfaces and wash the mold release agent off the castings. Bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); protect your airways when sanding resin. Spray the exhausts in burnt metal and rust shades and pick them out with pigments.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and requires the base aircraft kit, which is not included in the package.
