Hawker Tempest Mk.V landing flaps in 1:48 scale are a resin (3D-printed) detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard that replaces the plastic parts and lets you show the flaps in the lowered position.

This is a resin detail set, not an aircraft model. The set contains finely printed landing flaps for a build of the Hawker Tempest Mk.V fighter in 1:48 scale and is meant to replace the corresponding plastic parts of the base kit. Thanks to accurate 3D printing it carries the sharp edges, ribs and riveting that injected plastic handles only with difficulty.
It lets you show the landing flaps in the lowered position, which brings the underside of the wing to life and adds realism to the model. The parts go in place of the original plastic flaps after a small adjustment of the leading areas.
First wash the resin parts free of print resin residue, separate them carefully from the print supports and sand the mating faces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A primer base and an airbrush are recommended before painting.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
