A set of fabric belts for the cockpit in 1:48 scale from HGW, intended for models of the British Hawker Tempest fighter. It is not a kit but a detail accessory for the cockpit. The straps are laser-cut precisely from real cloth and are complemented by a photo-etched fret with buckles.
The Hawker Tempest was a British single-seat fighter from the end of the Second World War, valued for its high speed at low altitude; among other things it made its name shooting down V-1 flying bombs. Realistic belts raise the fidelity of a cockpit that is clearly visible.
The cloth straps are color-printed and ready for use, and the photo-etched fret holds the buckles and clasps. The fabric can be shaped into a realistic sag and it resists ordinary non-aggressive modeling products.
Separate the parts carefully, thread the straps through the buckles and set them into a natural shape. Super glue serves to fix them. The color tone is finished.
This is a detail accessory for the cockpit, not a model in its own right. It is meant for completing a model of the aircraft.
