A 3D decal interior for the Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib (early) in 1:48 scale from the maker Quinta Studio: a colored relief decal of the cockpit for the Hasegawa kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A colored 3D decal interior in 1:48 scale from the maker Quinta Studio. It is not a model: it is a set of three-dimensionally formed colored decals that replace the instrument panel, the side panels and other cockpit elements of the early version. The set is intended for the Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib plastic kit from the Hasegawa label.
The Hawker Typhoon was a British single-seat fighter-bomber of the Second World War. It was powered by a massive Napier Sabre engine and excelled as a destroyer of ground targets, attacking trains, vehicles and tanks with rockets and bombs. The early machines still had a framed, glazed canopy and a side door.
The elements are cut out, soaked briefly in lukewarm water and applied the wet way onto cockpit parts coated with gloss varnish. The decals are pre-printed in color, so painting and picking out the dials falls away. Patient pressing with a damp brush helps them settle into recesses; do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer on these decals. At the end the interior is unified with a matte varnish.
This is an interior accessory, not a kit. The model itself, paints and glue are not included: the set serves to detail a matching kit.
