The cast door has a realistic thickness and fine relief, so the underside of the fuselage of the model reads more faithfully. The part is designed as a direct replacement, usually with no need for larger changes.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin part, cut off the casting block and clean up the surface. Bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and protect your airways when sanding. Bring up the inner face with a wash to emphasize the detail.
