It replaces the moving surfaces of a plastic kit, that is the ailerons, the elevator and the rudder, with more accurate castings that render the fabric covering finely, and it lets you deflect them. It is an accessory for more experienced modelers, built into a base model of the Heinkel He 51 B.1 in 1:48 scale.
The Heinkel He 51 was a German single-seat biplane fighter of the 1930s. The He 51 B version was among the later forms, with reworked armament and equipment. A structure with fabric-covered moving surfaces is typical of that era.
First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the mating surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding resin. Lay down a primer before painting; support the texture of the fabric covering with light shading and a matte top coat.
