Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Heinkel He 51 B.2 biplane fighter in its floatplane version in 1:48 scale from Roden. The package contains parts in gray and clear plastic, a detailed cockpit and a decal sheet. The model is built unglued and unpainted.
The Heinkel He 51 was among the first fighters of the newly built-up Luftwaffe in the mid-1930s. The B.2 version was a floatplane fitted with floats, intended for coastal fighter units. These machines were in service until the end of the 1930s and, with the start of the Second World War, when they were already obsolete, they passed to training units.
On a biplane, first finish and paint the cockpit, then seat the upper wing and the struts carefully so that the angles are right. The floats and their struts call for accurate fit. Add the rigging with fine thread. Accentuate the camouflage with a fine wash in the panel lines.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
