RESArm 1:48 Hellcat / Corsair wheels under load (var. 2) is a resin set of loaded landing gear wheels for American carrier fighters in 1:48 scale.

A resin set of replacement main landing gear wheels from RESArm, in the form of variant 2. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for the American carrier fighters Grumman F6F Hellcat and Vought F4U Corsair in 1:48 scale. The tires are cast with a flattening where they touch down, which reproduces the load of a standing machine.
Both the Hellcat and the Corsair were among the most successful American carrier fighters of the Second World War in the Pacific. Both were powered by powerful radial engines and had rugged landing gear for operations from aircraft carriers.
Wash the wheels clean of mold release agent, separate the casting blocks and clean them up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Orient the flattening straight downward. Paint the tire and the hub separately and bring out the tread with a wash or a dry brush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
