This is an aftermarket set of aircraft armament, not an aircraft model. The box contains four resin, 3D-printed OFAB-250 aerial bombs in 1:48 scale. The faithfully rendered bodies, tail fins and lugs replace the simplified weapons from the box and complete the realistic external stores of a model.
The OFAB-250 is a Soviet high-explosive fragmentation aerial bomb of 250 kg caliber, commonly carried by tactical aircraft and ground-attack aircraft of Eastern design. External stores is a striking element of any model fitted out for combat.
Separate the bombs from the print supports, wash them and degrease them. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint them in the appropriate munitions shades, add the stencils and a light patina. Take care that the bombs sit properly on the pylons of the model. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
