SPACE is a detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard that combines 3D decals with color steel photo-etch. It brings a three-dimensional instrument panel, side panels and other cockpit elements together with pre-printed seat belts. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for the Hurricane Mk.IIc model in 1:48 scale, which markedly raises the look of the interior.
Moisten the backing paper of the 3D decal with a sponge and dish soap and lift the element with tweezers onto a cleaned surface. It has no adhesive layer of its own and holds on a drop of PVA glue (white glue); the manufacturer does not recommend cyanoacrylate. Do not use a decal softener, as it attacks the printed resin. Bend the photo-etch over an edge and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. The panels stand out over a darker base.
This is an add-on set. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
