Hurricane Mk.I SPACE 1:48 (Eduard)

A set of the SPACE range from the Czech maker Eduard for models of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for raising the detail of the cockpit. It combines color 3D decals of the instrument and side panels with steel photo-etched parts and a seat harness.

What the set contains and how it works

The color 3D decals create a three-dimensional, realistic look for the instrument panel and the interior panels straight from the factory, with no need for laborious painting. The steel photo-etched seat belts add convincing pilot equipment. Thanks to the pre-printed color you get a worked-up interior with a minimum of work.

Use

• The elements are applied to the cockpit of a particular Hurricane Mk.I model in this scale.
• The 3D decals are released from the backing paper with a brief dip in lukewarm water, and the photo-etched belts are bent and glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Do not use a decal softener on them, as it would attack the printed resin.
• Suited to modelers who want to lift the detail of the interior quickly.
