HVAR rockets 1:48 (Eduard Brassin) is a set of resin unguided HVAR rockets for models of American aircraft from the period 1944 to 1955. It is underwing ordnance, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set from the Brassin line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard holds unguided aircraft rockets HVAR in 1:48 scale, filled out with photo-etched parts. The bands of the rockets are solved as movable, so they can be seated on the launch rails of practically any suitable model. It is not a model - it is an accessory with ordnance.
The HVAR (High Velocity Aircraft Rocket) was an American unguided aircraft rocket used by the USAAF and later the US Air Force as well as by the US Navy roughly in the years 1944 to 1955 for attacks on ground and naval targets. A whole range of machines carried it, for example the fighters and attack aircraft of the navy as well as the aircraft of the later jet period.
Wash the resin parts clean of the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. The movable bands allow the rockets to be lined up precisely under the wing.
This is an accessory with ordnance, not a model of an airplane in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
