A resin set in 1:48 scale from Aires. It is not a kit of an aircraft but an accessory, which replaces the control surfaces of a model, that is, the ailerons, the elevator and the rudder, with more faithful resin parts with a finely marked fabric covering texture. It allows them to be deflected into a dynamic position.
The Polikarpov I-153 Chaika was a Soviet biplane fighter of the end of the 1930s with retractable landing gear and a characteristic gulled upper wing. It was committed in the opening phase of the fighting on the eastern front.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Cut the original surfaces off the model and replace them with the resin ones, deflecting them if you wish. Protect your airways when sanding.
