1:48 IAI Kfir C2/C7 is a set of self-adhesive Eduard painting masks in 1:48 scale for a model of the Kfir C2/C7 type. This is not a model but an accessory for painting the glazing and the wheels.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks made of kabuki tape for a model of the IAI Kfir C2, or C7, fighter in 1:48 scale. The masks make it easy to spray the frames of the glazed canopy and the wheel hubs cleanly, without laborious cutting. This is not a kit — it is an accessory used while painting a finished or part-built model. Eduard is a Czech maker of modeling accessories.
The IAI Kfir was an Israeli single-engine fighter with a delta wing and canard foreplanes, based on the Mirage design combined with Israeli avionics and an American engine. The C2 and C7 versions differed in their equipment; the C7 had further upgrades and greater combat capability.
The pre-cut masks of self-adhesive kabuki tape are stuck onto the canopy glazing and the wheel hubs, pressed into the engraved lines of the frames with a pointed stick, and then the area is sprayed. Once the paint has dried the tape is taken off and the framing stays clean and sharp. An airbrush gives an even coat. The delta wing with canards and the relatively simple glazing make the masks easy to apply.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package and are bought separately.
