1:48 J35F/J (O,S) Draken Expert masks

Saab J35 Draken (F/J) spray masks - Expert, 1:48 (New Ware)

A set of precisely pre-cut masks in kabuki paper from the Czech brand New Ware in the most extensive Expert form. Besides the outer glazing with its frames it also adds masks for the inner side of the canopy (for spraying the frames from within), and further the other transparent parts, the landing gear wheels and masks for camouflage. The masks hold with no paint creeping under and leave no adhesive residue. This is an accessory for masking, not a kit.

The real subject

The Saab J35 Draken was a Swedish supersonic interceptor with a characteristic double delta wing. The J35F and J35J versions were among the high points of its development and among the longest serving machines of the Swedish Air Force.

Use

• Transfer the masks from the sheet and seat them exactly on both the outer and the inner side of the glazing.
• Spray in thin coats so that the paint does not creep under.
• The inner masks make a realistic spray of the canopy frames from within possible.
• Remove a mask while the paint has just set, for a crisp transition.

Who the set is for

• More demanding modelers building the Draken F/J in 1:48 who want glazing sprayed perfectly from both sides.

This is a set of masks on its own. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
