A detail cockpit set for the Junkers Ju 87D Stuka dive bomber in 1:48 scale from Aires. The resin accessory replaces the basic interior of a plastic kit with a finely detailed cockpit: a cockpit tub, an instrument panel, side consoles, the crew seats and the controls.
The Ju 87 Stuka was a German two-seat dive bomber of the Second World War with fixed landing gear and a characteristic inverted gull wing. The D version was a later form with a Junkers Jumo 211 inverted V12 engine and revised aerodynamics of the nose and the cockpit.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue. Protect your airways while sanding. The glazed two-seat cockpit reveals the interior well, so careful painting and gentle picking out of the details are worth the effort.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
