A resin replacement part in 1:48 scale from Quickboost, meant for a kit of the Ju 87 dive bomber in the D and G versions. It replaces the propeller assembly of a plastic kit with a casting with a crisper blade section. It is not a model of the aircraft - the set allows for a base kit into which the part is fitted.
The Ju 87D was a late production version of the single-engine dive bomber with a reworked front fuselage and cockpit canopy. The G version followed on from it and was reworked for the anti-armor role with underwing armament. Both versions used a liquid-cooled inverted V12 engine with a three-blade variable-pitch propeller, whose shape is among the most conspicuous features of the whole silhouette - which is why the propeller is often replaced on models.
Wash the resin before the build in lukewarm water with detergent because of the mold release agent residue. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc and level the face with abrasive paper - sand wet and with your airways protected. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). On a propeller, take care that all the blades have the same pitch, or any lack of symmetry shows on the finished model at first glance. Apply a primer before painting; the contrasting edges of the blades are well brought out by a fine dry brush or a thin line of a darker shade.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without a base kit. Glue, paints and a kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
