A detail set of resin late type wheels for the Junkers Ju 88 bomber in 1:48 scale from the Brassin line by Eduard. The package contains precisely cast main wheels, the tailwheel and photo-etched extras. It is not a model of the aircraft, but a standalone accessory for refining the landing gear.
The resin main wheels of the late type have a faithful rendering of the tread and the rim and are cast with a realistic flattening where they meet the ground, so once the model settles it looks properly loaded. The set therefore clearly outdoes the usual plastic wheels made of two halves with a seam down the middle.
This is a landing gear accessory, not a model of an aircraft. The kit and the paints are not included in the package.
