This is a resin detail set in 1:48 scale from the Quickboost brand, not a stand-alone aircraft model. The set replaces the exhaust stubs of a plastic kit with finely cast resin parts with hollow outlets. Once fitted and painted it gives the sides of the engine area of a model a markedly more realistic look.
The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka was a German dive bomber characterized by its inverted gull wing and fixed landing gear. The Ju 87B version was one of the early production standards used in the first years of the Second World War. The aircraft was equipped for precise vertical attacks against ground and shipping targets and was powered by a V12 engine.
Wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Paint the exhaust outlets in shades of rust and scorched metal and bring them out with a dark wash.
This is a resin accessory for more experienced modelers, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
