The set captures the exhaust nozzles of the German Junkers Jumo 004B-1 turbojet and serves to raise the detail of a plastic kit. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that replaces the simplified kit parts with faithfully worked nozzles with fine structure inside and out.
The Junkers Jumo 004 was the first mass-produced turbojet in the world. It powered, among others, the Me 262 fighter and the Ar 234 bomber at the close of the Second World War. The 004B version was one of the main production forms; the exhaust nozzles with their adjustable exhaust bullet made up the characteristic rear end of the engine nacelle.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spray the nozzles in metallic and heat-stained shades and finish the surface with a dark wash and pigments for a sooty metal effect. Check the fit with your particular kit before closing the nacelle.
The resin set is an accessory for a plastic kit, which is not included in the package. Glue, paints and the model itself are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
