A set of 3D-printed resin wheels for models of the Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter in 1:48 scale. This is not a helicopter kit but an accessory that replaces the wheels from the box with truer parts. The tires have the flattening (the weighted bulge) suggested where they meet the ground, and the hubs are made as separate parts for easy painting. The target kit is Zvezda.
Weighted tires with a realistic settling on the contact patch give a machine standing on the ground a convincing sense of mass. The separate hubs make it easier to distinguish the rim from the tire in color and raise the detail of the landing gear as a whole.
This is an add-on wheel set, not a complete helicopter model.
