The exhaust for the Ki-46 Dinah 1:48 (Quickboost) is a resin aircraft accessory in 1:48 scale from Quickboost. It is not an aircraft model but a detailing part. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
Accurately cast resin exhausts for the Japanese twin-engine Mitsubishi Ki-46 Dinah reconnaissance aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is an aftermarket detailing part that replaces the coarser or thick-walled plastic exhausts from the base kit, not a model in its own right.
The Mitsubishi Ki-46, known by the Allied code name Dinah, was a Japanese twin-engine reconnaissance aircraft of the Second World War. It excelled in high speed and range, which allowed it to escape fighters, and it was powered by a pair of Mitsubishi radial engines. It served with army reconnaissance units throughout the Pacific theater.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash them free of mold release agent residue, separate them carefully from the casting block and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways while sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. The exhausts come into their own once painted in metal and rust shades, complemented with dry weathering and traces of exhaust gas.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
