Shaped masks for a model of the Kawasaki Ki-61-I Hien in 1:48 scale, for the outer as well as the inner side of the clear parts. They are applied before spraying.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien was an exception among the Japanese fighters of the war in the Pacific: instead of a radial engine it was given a liquid-cooled V12, thanks to which it has a slim, pointed nose. The Allies used the name Tony for it. The set is meant for the Ki-61-I version, and that for its sub-renditions a, b and c.
Shaped masks in 1:48 scale for the outer as well as the inner side of the clear parts. The inner elements let you spray the glazing frame from the view out of the cockpit too, so that after gluing it in the frame does not stay transparent from inside. The exact range of the set is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Work from the inside out: first the inner masks and the cockpit shade, then the outer masks and the outer finish. Wash the clear part beforehand and let it dry completely.
The set is for a modeler who is building the Ki-61-I in 1:48 scale and wants the lines of the frame sharp from both sides. The masks are shaped to a particular kit, so check beforehand which kit you have. This is an accessory to a model: the kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
