Eduard 1:48 Lockheed F-35B TFace is a masking set that covers the outer and the inner side of the clear parts, so the framing can be sprayed from both sides.
Responsibility details are not available.
A self-adhesive masking set for a model in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. The TFace designation means that the set contains masks for both sides of the clear part. You therefore spray the canopy framing from inside in the interior shade of the cockpit and only then from outside in the top color of the airframe, which on a model with a well transparent one-piece canopy shows at first glance. It is not a kit or decals but an accessory for a build. The basic single-sided configuration is listed by Eduard as a separate item, so they are two different products.
The Lockheed Martin F-35B is the version of the single-engine multi-role F-35 adapted for short takeoff and vertical landing. It carries a lift fan behind the cockpit and a swiveling nozzle at the rear, which corresponds to the characteristic doors on the upper and lower sides of the fuselage. The cockpit has a one-piece canopy with a minimum of dividing frames and a good view, so a finished interior and the inner side of the framing stay clearly visible on the model.
Start with the inner side; you will no longer reach it once the canopy is fitted to the fuselage. Wash and degrease the clear part, release the mask from the sheet with the tip of a scalpel and seat it with tweezers along the frame. Press it down with a soft tool all around the perimeter and trim any overhang with a fresh blade in a light pass along the outline. Spray a thin sealing coat of base color, then the interior color. Apply the outer masks only before the top coat of camouflage. Take the masks off once the paint has flashed off, pulling them slowly back over themselves rather than straight up.
It is an accessory for a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
