Luftwaffe FuG 16 antennas 1:48 is a resin accessory set from Eduard with the antennas of the German FuG 16 airborne radio for 1:48 models of Luftwaffe aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This aftermarket resin set is not a standalone model but a set of small details. It contains the antennas used with the widespread German FuG 16 airborne radio, which replace the thick and simplified plastic parts from the kit. The result is a finer and more faithful rendering of the antenna fit on 1:48 models of Luftwaffe aircraft.
During the Second World War the FuG 16 radio was among the most widespread airborne radio equipment of German fighters and other aircraft. The antennas under the fuselage or on its side tend to be too heavy on plastic parts; the resin rendering offers a thickness correct for the scale and a clean shape.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The thin antennas are fragile, so handle them with tweezers and fit them only at the end of the build, after the basic painting.
This is a resin accessory set. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
