This is a resin detail set, not a kit of an aircraft. It contains 3D-printed replacement wheels for a model of the British Westland Lysander liaison and reconnaissance aircraft in 1:48 scale. The wheels have a finely made tire tread pattern as well as detail on the rims and replace the plastic parts from the base kit.
The Westland Lysander was a British multipurpose aircraft with outstanding takeoff and landing qualities, famous above all for dropping off and picking up agents on short field strips during the Second World War. Sturdy landing gear with large wheels was characteristic of this machine, so accurately made wheels contribute markedly to the overall impression of a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up. Resin is bonded with super glue. For a realistic look the tires can be sanded down slightly at the contact patch and the shade of the rubber painted in.
The set is an accessory, not a model of an aircraft. It does not contain the aircraft, glue or paints and is intended to be fitted to a corresponding base model.
