This is a small resin accessory set, not an aircraft model. It contains a set of miniature Remove Before Flight tags of the kind hung on a real machine, on safety pins, covers and sensors, while it is parked. The set is intended to raise the realism of a finished E-2 Hawkeye model in 1:48 scale.
The castings are in resin with fine relief on the fabric streamers. Painted in the characteristic red with white lettering, they bring a model to life in a ground scene and give it the feel of an aircraft being prepared. The elements also suit dioramas with a carrier deck.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Sand with your airways protected. For a faithful look we recommend a flat red with the fine white lettering added with a brush or a decal.
