Color photo-etched seat belts from the STEEL line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a model of the American Martin B-26B Marauder medium bomber in 1:48 scale. The STEEL line combines pre-printed color etched belts with thin, flexible steel sheet that forms better and looks more realistic.

The real subject

The B-26 Marauder was an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War. Realistic belts in the pilots' seats markedly raise the level of a finished cockpit.

Use and tips

  • The parts are already color-printed; there is no need to paint them.
  • Steel sheet bends well and drapes naturally over a seat.
  • Glue with super glue in a small amount.
  • Suited as an accessory to a photo-etched interior set.

The belts are of thin, flexible steel, which forms better and looks more faithful than ordinary photo-etch. They are color-printed as well.

No, they are supplied already color-printed; it is enough to separate them, form them and glue them on.
