Cut self-adhesive masks from New Ware for spraying the British national insignia on a model of the twin-engine fighter Bristol Blenheim Mk.IF in 1:48 scale. On the large surfaces of a twin-engine machine, large decals silver easily and settle badly over riveted surfaces — sprayed insignia remove this problem entirely, and in the dark night camouflages typical of the Blenheim Mk.IF they look markedly more credible.
The Blenheim Mk.IF was the fighter conversion of the fast light bomber Bristol Blenheim: under the fuselage it carried a pack with a battery of machine guns, and the machines served above all as night fighters. It was on them that the British tried out the first airborne radar sets, by which the Blenheim wrote itself into the beginnings of night fighting.
For builders of British hardware who want to take a large twin-engine model to perfection. Sprayed national insignia merge with the camouflage, they take washes and weathering and they give a model the look of a real machine. The set is designed in its dimensions for a particular kit in 1:48 scale.
This is a masking accessory — the kit of the aircraft, paints and glue are not included in the package.
