The basic form of the mask set in 1:48 scale for models of the P-40 fighter in the E, K and K-10 versions. The masks are cut from self-adhesive film and are applied to the glazing, which is then sprayed together with the camouflage. The set is tied to a particular kit, to whose parts it is shaped.
The canopy of the Warhawk has a fair number of flat panes separated by narrow frames, plus a separate windscreen and rear glazing. That is a large number of small cuts if masking is done with tape. A cut set brings ready-made shapes, so the work is reduced to applying and pressing down, and above all it comes out symmetrically on both sides of the fuselage.
For modelers who are building a Warhawk and do not want to spend an evening cutting dozens of strips of tape. The basic form is clear in its extent and even a less experienced modeler will manage it.
The package holds only the mask set. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
