Eduard 1:48 MB-339 – set of photo-etched parts

A photo-etched set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for superdetailing a model of the Italian Aermacchi MB-339 jet trainer and light attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit, but an accessory that replaces coarser plastic features with thin metal parts and raises the fidelity of the model.

What the set offers

• Fine photo-etched parts for raising the level of detail of the model.
• Refinement of the cockpit, the instruments and small airframe features.
• Features that a plastic mold cannot capture.

Usage tips

The parts are cut from the fret, bent along the engraved lines and glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), or spot-glued. Pre-colored pieces, where the set has them, are applied as they are; the others are painted after they have been glued on.
