1:48 Me-262 wheel bay plugs (for Hobby Boss)

Omask Wheel Bay Inserts, Me-262, 1:48

A set of masking wheel bay inserts (wheel bay plugs) from the Omask brand in 1:48 scale. This is not a kit or a model part, but a modeling aid: soft, flexible foam inserts shaped precisely to the wheel bay space of a specific kit of the German jet aircraft Messerschmitt Me 262. They are placed into the open bays before spraying and protect their interior from overspray and unwanted coloring. The inserts are made to fit the Hobby Boss Me-262 kit.

Use

• Insert the foam plugs into the wheel bays before spraying paint or varnish.
• You prevent overspray from getting into the already finished bay interior.
• Once the paint has dried, simply remove the inserts — the material is flexible and gentle on the surface.
• The inserts are reusable.

Who It Is For

Modelers who want a clean separation between the airframe's paint and the finely detailed wheel bays, without lengthy masking with tape, will appreciate it. The aid is shaped for the specific Me 262 kit in 1:48 scale.

The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package. This is a masking accessory.
