Me 262A radio equipment in 1:48 scale is a resin replacement part from Quickboost for a model of this German jet fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory from Quickboost brings exactly cast radio equipment for a model of the German Messerschmitt Me 262A jet fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a detail replacement part that will replace the simplified equipment from the box with more accurate castings with a fine surface and crisply suggested instruments.
The Me 262 Schwalbe was the first jet fighter in the world to see combat, powered by a pair of Junkers Jumo 004 turbojets. Behind the cockpit and in the fuselage it carried radio gear that can be seen with the covers open or on a cutaway model. Faithfully cast boxes and instrument blocks give the interior a depth that the smooth plastic parts from the box cannot offer.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent because of mold release residue. Cut off the casting blocks carefully with a saw and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Check the placement before gluing; fine shading and a dry brush will bring out the detail of the instruments and the wiring.
The accessory is supplied as a resin replacement part, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
