A detail set of the gun bay for the Messerschmitt Me 262A Schwalbe jet aircraft in 1:48 scale from Aires. The resin accessory makes it possible to display the nose armament installation exposed, with faithfully rendered cannon, mountings, ammunition and the inner structure of the nose.
The Me 262 Schwalbe was a German twin-engine jet fighter of the end of the Second World War, powered by two Junkers Jumo 004 turbojets. The armament was concentrated in the nose of the fuselage, which took 30 mm automatic cannon.
Wash the mold release agent off the fine resin parts and separate them carefully from the casting blocks. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The compartment shows best open, so it pays to paint it in stages and pick out the details with a wash.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
