Fabric seat belts for the Me 262A Schwalbe 1:48 from HGW — standard cloth belts with photo-etched buckles for the cockpit of the jet fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A stand-alone detail accessory, not an airplane model. The set holds the standard version of German pilot's seat belts for the Messerschmitt Me 262A jet fighter. The belts are of thin microfabric with photo-etched metal buckles and clasps added, and the parts are laser cut for easy use and realistic shaping in the small 1:48 scale.
The Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe was the first series-produced jet fighter in the world, used by the Luftwaffe in the closing stage of the Second World War. The Me 262A version was the single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber variant with a pair of turbojets under the wings.
The belts are glued with super glue or PVA glue and can be repainted and weathered with acrylic paints. In a small scale, work with a sharp knife and tweezers; degrease the photo-etched buckles before gluing and weather them lightly.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
