Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive masks in kabuki tape for a model of the AgustaWestland Merlin HC.3 helicopter in 1:48 scale. The masks make it easier to spray the frames of the glazed cabin and the wheel discs cleanly, without laborious cutting. It is not a kit — it is an accessory used while painting a finished or part-built model. Eduard is a Czech maker of modeling accessories.
The AgustaWestland Merlin HC.3 (derived from the EH101 type) is a medium-lift transport helicopter with three engines. In this transport version it was operated by the Royal Air Force to carry troops and cargo. It is notable for a roomy cabin and a good service ceiling.
The pre-cut masks in self-adhesive kabuki tape are stuck onto the cabin glazing and onto the wheel discs, pressed into the engraved lines of the frames with a pointed wooden stick, and then the area is sprayed. Once the paint has dried the tape is lifted off and the framing stays clean and crisp. An airbrush gives an even coat. The masks will bound the helicopter's extensive cockpit glazing accurately.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package and are obtained separately.
