Eduard 1:48 Bf 109K-4 — a 3D printed radio compartment is a detail set that fills in the radio bay behind the cockpit of a Bf 109K-4 model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set in 1:48 scale from the Eduard Brassin range, made by direct 3D printing. It is not a model but an add-on: it renders faithfully the compartment with the radio equipment behind the pilot's cockpit, which can be revealed with the service hatch open. Photo-etched parts are included as well.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109K-4 was one of the last production versions of the German fighter at the end of World War II. Behind the pilot's cockpit was a compartment with the radio set and other equipment.
Separate the 3D printed parts from the supports, wash them and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. The detail will come out with careful painting, a wash and drybrushing; a revealed service hatch adds to the realism.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
