Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109E-4, nicknamed the Emil, in 1:48 scale from Hobby Boss. The model captures one of the key versions of the famous fighter, the one committed in the Battle of Britain. To build it you need modeling cement for plastic and paints, which are not included in the package.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was one of the most significant fighters of the Second World War. The E series (the Emil) was powered by the inverted V12 Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine and was a modern all-metal monoplane with an enclosed cockpit and retractable landing gear. The E-4 version brought changes to the armament with wing cannon and was committed above all in 1940 over the English Channel and England during the Battle of Britain.
Gluing with liquid modeling cement for plastic and sanding the joints once dry is recommended. Apply a base coat (primer) before painting and spray the top colors with an airbrush in thin coats. The typical camouflage scheme of the period aircraft (a light underside and segmented upper camouflage) comes out well with pre-shading; apply the decals onto a gloss clear coat and fix the work with a matte clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
