A resin, 3D-printed model of the German MG 42 machine gun in 1:48 scale from Firma49. It is not a kit of a vehicle but a separate weapon to be fitted into dioramas, vehicles and figure scenes at this scale. The model will complete aviation and military dioramas alike, wherever 1:48 scale is used.
The MG 42 was a German general-purpose machine gun of 7.92 mm caliber introduced during the Second World War. It was famous for its high rate of fire and was used as a light machine gun on a bipod and as a heavy one on a mount. It ranks among the most important infantry weapons of the conflict.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package.
