A color 3D interior decal on backing paper from Quinta Studio in 1:48 scale. The details are printed on a flexible carrier with real relief, so the instrument panels, the side consoles and the controls of the pilot's and the operator's cabin all look three-dimensional. The colors and the labels are pre-printed, so the interior does not have to be painted by hand. The set is designed for the Trumpeter kit.
The Mil Mi-24 (Hind in the NATO code) is a Soviet attack helicopter that combines heavy fire support with the ability to carry troops. It is marked out by its tandem cabin with stepped seats, its armor and its richly laid-out instrument consoles. The machine became one of the most widespread combat helicopters of its era.
The parts are cut out, dipped in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slid off the backing paper onto the interior parts. They have no adhesive layer of their own and hold on gloss varnish, with which you coat the surface beforehand; in broken-up places a drop of super glue helps. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as the chemicals attack the printed resin. Given the extent of the helicopter interior it is advisable to work systematically section by section and to degrease the surfaces beforehand.
The set contains the interior 3D decals only. The plastic kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
