An injection-molded plastic kit of the attack helicopter Mil Mi-35M, NATO code name Hind-E, in 1:48 scale from Trumpeter. It is a sizeable and richly subdivided model of the modernized version of the legendary Mi-24. The package contains plastic parts on several sprues, clear cockpit parts and a photo-etched fret; the model has a finely worked cockpit and external stores.
The Mi-35M is the export and modernized version of the Soviet, or rather Russian, attack helicopter Mi-24 Hind. It combines firepower with the ability to carry a group of soldiers in the rear cabin, which makes it a unique machine among attack helicopters. The Mi-35M version received fixed landing gear, shortened wings, more modern avionics and gun armament; it serves with a number of armed forces around the world.
Use liquid cement for plastic and bond the photo-etched parts with super glue. Finish and paint the cockpit and the cabin before you close the fuselage. Spray the model with a base coat and varnish it with an airbrush; masking works well for Russian-style camouflage. Fit the external stores and the rotors at the very end. Mask the glazing and fit it after varnishing so that it stays clean.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
