Eduard 1:48 Mi-4 seatbelts STEEL is a painted photo-etched set of steel seat belts for models of the Mil Mi-4 helicopter in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a painted photo-etched set of seat belts in thin steel from the manufacturer Eduard. It is not a model but an upgrade accessory for the cabin of a model of the Soviet helicopter Mil Mi-4 in 1:48 scale. The parts are painted at the factory and thanks to the steel they hold a bent shape excellently, which faithfully reproduces the sag and the waviness of the straps in a pilot's cabin.
The Mil Mi-4 was a Soviet multi-purpose helicopter with a piston radial engine in the front of the fuselage. It served for carrying troops and cargo and also in armed and special versions, and it was widespread with a number of armies and civil operators. It was notable for a spacious cargo cabin and rear doors for loading.
Separate the parts carefully with a sharp knife and form them with tweezers. They are bonded best with super glue (cyanoacrylate) applied in a minimal amount. The painted belts no longer need to be painted over, and the buckles can just be picked out lightly. Degrease the surfaces of the cabin before gluing.
An accessory for detailing a model. It is not a kit of the helicopter; the model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
