The Eduard Brassin MICA IR, 3D print, 1:48 is a 3D-printed set of French MICA IR guided missiles for models of combat aircraft. A detailing accessory for armament, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Brassin range by the Czech maker Eduard contains 3D-printed (resin) models of French MICA IR air-to-air guided missiles with infrared guidance in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detailing accessory for armament with which you fit out the hardpoints of modern French combat machines.
Direct 3D printing captures the fine surfaces of the control fins and the seeker head far more faithfully than injection-molded plastic. The set adds a realistic group of MICA missiles in the infrared-seeker version to a model; a mask for easy and accurate painting is often included as well.
Take the parts carefully off the print supports and sand them with your airways protected. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A primer is recommended, then an airbrush; the mask enclosed, where it is included, makes even bands and markings easier.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
