MiG-15 (Early) wheels set 1:48 is a resin set of landing gear wheels for the early version. It is a detail accessory from Reskit, not a model in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings precisely cast resin landing gear wheels for models of the Soviet MiG-15 fighter in the early version in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a resin detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the kit with a substitute with a crisp tire tread and fine hub detail matching the early form. Paints, glue and the model of the aircraft are not included.
The MiG-15 was a groundbreaking Soviet fighter with a swept wing that became the main opponent of Western aircraft over Korea. The early and late production batches differed in a number of details including the landing gear wheels, which is why Reskit offers both variants separately. This set matches the early form.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting block off carefully and sand the mating surface with respiratory protection. Glue the wheels with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tires in a flat rubber black and the hubs in the shade of the scheme in question; the transition can be masked off cleanly.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
