This is NOT an airplane model but a resin detail set from the Brassin range by the manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale. It replaces the exhaust nozzle in a kit of the Soviet MiG-21bis fighter with an accurate casting that has realistic inner and outer detail unattainable in injection-molded plastic.
The nozzle is an exposed part of the aircraft and the resin part markedly increases the fidelity of the model. The set is intended for more experienced modelers and is fitted in place of the corresponding part of the kit.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut them carefully from the casting blocks (use respiratory protection) and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend painting the inside of the nozzle in shades of heat-stained metal.
The set is an accessory for a kit, not a standalone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
