This resin set from the Brassin range of the Czech maker Eduard faithfully renders the cockpit interior for models of the MiG-21bis fighter in 1:48 scale. It holds the cockpit tub, the instrument panel, the side panels, the ejection seat and colored photo-etched parts. It is not a model — it is an accessory that replaces the plastic interior.
The MiG-21bis was the last and, in performance, the most advanced mass-production version of the famous MiG-21 fighter. The cockpit interior with its many instruments and controls is a detail that a resin set captures far more faithfully than injection-molded plastic.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Paint and assemble the interior before closing up the fuselage; the colored photo-etch is applied spot by spot.
This is a detail accessory, not a standalone model of the aircraft. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
