Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the Soviet helicopter Mil Mi-4 in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Smer. The model is injection-molded from plastic and comes with waterslide decals. It is a proven mold of classic design, suited to modelers who are fond of machines from the early years of the helicopter era.
The Mil Mi-4 was a Soviet piston-engine helicopter of the 1950s with a characteristic piston engine set high in the nose and a cargo compartment with rear doors. It served in transport, assault, medical evacuation and civil roles and was widely exported to the states of the Warsaw Pact and to other countries. In its layout it followed the concept of the heavy transport helicopters of its day and became one of the most widespread machines of its kind.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with liquid cement for plastic; it is a good idea to fill and sand the fuselage joints. Masking the cabin glazing before spraying is recommended. A base primer will improve the surface under the paint, and the painting itself can be done with an airbrush or a brush. Glue the rotor blades and the landing gear on at the very end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
