Resin antennas for the MiG-23M Flogger B in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Quickboost: a detail accessory, not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
Resin castings of the antennas for the Soviet MiG-23M Flogger B fighter in 1:48 scale from the brand Quickboost. These are the small antenna masts and sensors that a kit tends to mold coarsely or thickly. It is not an aircraft model but an accurate accessory for experienced modelers that replaces the simplified plastic parts with more faithful and more delicate castings, so that the silhouette of the aircraft looks more realistic.
The MiG-23M was one of the main production fighter versions of this widespread Soviet aircraft with a variable geometry wing, and in the NATO designation it carried the name Flogger B. The small antennas on the fuselage and the fin are among the fine but conspicuous details that take away from fidelity when they are in coarse plastic. A resin replacement is cleaner in shape. The accessory is intended to refine an existing MiG-23M model in the same scale.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts with lukewarm soapy water. Separate the small castings from the casting blocks carefully with a sharp knife and clean the surfaces up; protect your airways when sanding resin. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is best to fit the antennas at the end of the build so that they are not snapped off during handling, and to paint them over in the shade of the surrounding surface. Because the parts are so small, work over a mat.
It is supplied as an unpainted resin accessory for completing a model. Glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package.
