A resin set from the Brassin range of the Czech brand Eduard in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but an accessory for more experienced modelers — accurately cast engine air intakes for a model of the Soviet MiG-23MF fighter. It replaces the plastic intakes from the box with a more faithful and deeper design.
The resin side ram air intakes have the correct shape, sharp edges and the depth of duct that injection-molded plastic usually cannot reach. The set is intended for the matching plastic MiG-23MF kits in 1:48.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash any mold release agent off them and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Fill the joints to the fuselage and sand them down; protect your airways while sanding resin and fit any photo-etched elements.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
