The package holds pre-cut masks for a model of the MiG-25 in the RB version from the ICM kit in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory for the painting stage. The masks are ready to be peeled off and transferred to the model.
The MiG-25 has cockpit glazing made up of flat and angled panes with fairly massive framing, so the edges are long and straight and any deviation on them is visible at first glance. The reconnaissance-bomber version also differs from the fighter in its nose and its glazing, which complicates masking further. A pre-cut set respects the shapes of the particular version, so there is no measuring out and trying.
Degrease the glazing and lay the mask on dry as a trial. Work the long straight edges down along their whole length, otherwise paint will bleed in the middle of them. Spray thin coats at a right angle to the surface. On flat panes it pays to check the corners particularly carefully — that is where most of the bleeding happens.
This is an accessory for a model, not the model itself. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
